I’m pleased to have done the artwork for the new Jonathan Blakeslee LP.
Jonathan Blakeslee & The Fronds album “Ferris Wheelin” will be released on Nov 17, 2018. “Ferris Wheelin” is a feel-good, summer rock album that drives along, occasionally stopping for a picnic or to snap a photograph…
The band is offering all kinds of goodies, including t-shirts with the album cover’s design. Please consider supporting or sharing their Indiegogo campaign.
For those of you on Monhegan, I’m participating in a “wet paint” benefit for the Monhegan Museum. Instead of painting, I spent a few hours making this papercutting of three puffins. Bidding will happen during the Monhegan ❤️’s Art celebration on Thursday, August 9 at the Museum. I’m in the company of some fantastic artists, as well, so please check it out if you are able.
The label I made for the Monhegan Brewing Company‘s Balmy Days Citra Kölsch bottle is now adorning cans. Available at the Monhegan Brewing Company on Monhegan.
I’ve got two new and different 2019 calendars now available. At my porch gallery on Monhegan, or mail order here.
2019 Dylan Metrano Papercutting calendar: SOLD OUT
2019 Monhegan tearaway calendar: $6 (+$3 shipping USA). Order HERE.
I am excited to be a part of Carpal Tunnel Club, a three-artist papercutting show alongside Hannah Ellingwood and Mary Goldthwaite-Gagne, two artists whose work I love. It’s at a great spot in Portland, ME called Pinecone + Chickadee.
The show’s up in July, and the artists will be present at the opening reception on Friday, July 6, from 6-8pm, as a part of Portland’s First Friday ArtWalk.
I’ve got a selection of new bird and Monhegan Island artwork at Archipelago in Rockland, ME. Please stop by, if you are in the area.
Please join me at the opening reception on Friday, June 1, from 5-8pm.
I’ll be showing my Monhegan papercuttings at the Carry Out Cafe in Newburyport, MA in March. The Cafe was one of the first places I ever showed my artwork, and I’m excited to be back there. Please stop in if you are in the area.
There will be a reception with the artist on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17, from 2-4.
